The cubes is an ideal mountain retreat , very peaceful. The accommodation was spotless , regularly cleaned and well maintained. The food especially the breakfast was some of the best we experienced in Sri Lanka ,the chef and all the staff including the manager were extremely helpful ,friendly. and polite we cannot recommend highly enough . We will return when we come back to Sri Lanka. 10/10 Thanks for everything.

The room is fab with a partial view of the 9 arches, the staff are lovely and the breakfast was amazing. The cube is a little bit outside of Ella via is reachable by TukTuk. Would recommend a stay in the cubes.

Well run small hotel. The room was large, adequately equipped and the AC was fine. Dinner and breakfast in the cafe/restauarnt was very good - maybe the best ‘Sri Lanka Curry and rice’ I had during my touring holiday. We enjoyed our stay at The Cubes, it was a few minutes out of Ella which meant it was a peaceful escape from the bustling town and an easy tuk tuk ride into town. The scenery and views around the hotel were lovely. Service was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast. Our room was large and the bed very comfortable with a lovely balcony.

Had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful hilly, mountain-side hotel. The setting was serene and refreshing, but what stood out most was the exceptional hospitality from every member of the staff warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Fantastic quiet hotel with great service and food

The Cubes is a modern clean hotel with comfortable beds and amazing views. The service provided by the team is fantastic and they will do and arrange anything to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is out of town and is very quiet. Nice if you want to get away from the buzz of Ella. It’s a short Tuk Tuk ride away, which again the team will organise (500lkr each way). We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast there as well and would thoroughly recommend the hotel.
