The place is very clean and quiet. It is in an exclusive neighborhood. Very safe to walk around. Their staff are very friendly and very service oriented. Breakfast was faboulous. The only thing is, it is a little further away from the city. Need a taxi to go anywhere but the taxi is also readily available and staff will call them for us. Wait time is very short usually less than 10 minutes.

Staff were very helpful and professional. Speaking English was not a problem. The breakfast buffet had a lot fresh food, fruit and pastries to choose from

Beautiful location and stay however both nights (on opposite ends of the week) with two different rooms..the shower flooded the room.

This is a beautiful hotel just outside Florence. It is about 15-20 minutes from the main city of Florence but it is worth the drive if you looking for a peaceful relaxing quiet hotel. If you are planning to visit Florence, this is the hotel you should book! It won't let you down. Your Florence stay will be brilliant and memorable. I booked this hotel after read someone's comment. As I learned, the location is a bit far from the center of city. Even so, it is still worth to stay at this hotel. If you take a taxi, it costs 10 euro from/to hotel approxilately. For money savers, taking a bus #14 just for 2 euro may be suitable. The bus stop for #14 is only 2 blocks walk...

Nice atmospheric hotel. Had the tone of Roman history with a painted ceiling in our room and some exposed brick. Breakfast was ok. Towels were unusual ,- very thin but still absorbent. Good location. And accommodating staff.

Horrible! Do not go there! Because if you stay there once, your standards will rise and you will have hard time comparing other hotels to this one which exceeded all standards. Do not get fooled by its 3-star status, as the rooms, deco and services would definitely compete with at least a 4-star counterpart. We have stayed at Silla prior to this visit and love the Hotel. The area is a perfect walk to the center of Florence but it is off the busy streets and very quiet. The staff is always very accommodating, willing to help in any way they can. They serve breakfast daily and it is a very nice way to start your busy day. This is a lovely hotel not far outside the ancient wall of Florence. It is an excellent place to stay in, after traveling to recover from jet lag, since it is far enough out of the tourist bustle of Florence but close enough to walk through a beautiful neighborhood to the city center. The people who work at the desk couldn't be more charming and helpful, the room was small but had everything one could want, and the morning breakfast was a delight. I would definitely stay here again.

I am very busy and don't like to waste my time but I thought I had to compliment this hotel and the staff. My wife and I traveled with our daughter and we were expecting to be very tight in the room. We were given a very spacious suite with two bedrooms. The beds were great, the view was spectacular facing the cathedral. The breakfast menu was delicious. Staff was great. I will return

What a fantastic experience at Milu! To start, the staff was friendly and made us feel at home right away. Our room was clean and quiet, with the most amazing shower! We enjoyed the breakfast on the patio and found it to be a very satisfying way to start the day. The hotel maintained a relaxed feel while still being vibrant - colorful, modern art and design to enjoy while relaxing with a cup of tea from the open library. We would definitely stay again, thanks Milu for a great experience!

The property is in the middle of where you want to be. The staff was exceptional. The rooms were spotless and well accommodated. My wife and I had one room and our 3 college aged kids had another. The breakfast was excellent.

I can't imagine what people could possibly complain about at this hotel. The staff is warm and welcoming. The breakfast served is excellent. The rooms are large and comfortable - and very quiet. My wife and I stayed here over a long weekend mid-January. Very pleased with our choice. Cool, chic modern feel, but not at all 'cheap feeling' décor like some modern hotel renovations.
