"Wasn’t quite sure what to expect and indeed , the Hearty centre is an unusual accommodation option. A mix of 3 star hotel with pub or hostel accommodation. Chose because only place in Katoomba at a reasonable price. Room booked was not available but the young manager did a good hospitality job to make things work. Very basic, reasonable location and given it seems a facility that provides accommodation for health compromised folk, happy to support it"

"Characterful hotel, friendly staff and a decent hot breakfast. Easy access to Katoomba amenities. I have to say I struggled with access to the tv channels but that might just have been me. Overall a decent base for our two night stay in the Blue Mountains."
