"Nikolai is an excellent hotel in a marvelous location. The staff is courteous and did everything to make us feel at home. The Superior room with the bath tub fits 2 people :-) and is very nice for a warm relaxing bath with a person close to you. I warmly recommend Nikolai."

"Plenty of parking spaces in the public carpark (same price and location as the hotels parking - where it was full). Loved the lady at breakfast <3 Bring your own cotton swabs and conditioner. Only 0,33 L water for a two day stay for two persons, but a REWE supermarket just across the hotel. "

"Hotel was modern and clean - helpful staff and easily walkable to the old town, the river and the Reeperbahn. The area was quiet with a shop and bakery on the corner. Swimming pool a nice addition. The hotel was very good and good value - would stay again "

Breakfast was excellent - lots of healthy and not so healthy options and made to order omlettes. Gym was well equipped. Bar lovely, room service quick and tasty. Definitely recommend"

"Stayed for 3 nights - room was not serviced/cleaned once, requested clean towels and toilet paper which was not provided. - Fantastic location and the staff were generally friendly when approached although requests for fresh towels were not met. - Upon arrival rooms were clean and tidy and although not the biggest were ideal for what we required."
