This hotel is fantastic! The balcony view of the Tuscan landscape and the Basilica was incredible. The twin bed was adequate and fit the theme of staying at a former monastery. The staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel has a chapel inside (it was a monastery) and that was an added treat. The main churches were easily accessible. I cannot imagine staying at a more beautiful place in Assisi than this hotel!

What a VIEW! we had room 26 with a cutely decorated balcony facing the valley with a gorgeous bell tower standing guard. it was so peaceful Three minutes easy walk into town with dining, shopping and sites to see. The owners made us feel like family. Everyone so happy and friendly. Fantastic breakfast. Rooms were very up to date and artistically decorated. Would love to go there again!
We had a very good stay at Hotel Il Duomo. The receptionist was very kind and processed our check in swiftly. The free breakfast was a bonus. We will definitely be back and stay at Hotel Il Duomo again.
About 20 minutes drive outside of Gubbio and up a mountain, the Castello provides a unique hotel stay. Our room was in a building inside the walls. One of the most amazing hotels in the world. Staff were incredible, clean rooms, amazing views, really good breakfast. Heated pool, all the amenities you need to relax.
If ever in the area, would stay again and again.
