Over 7000 pottery soldiers, horses and chariots have been unearthed from these 3 pits.

We started with pit 3 and worked backwards, saving the most impressive display till last! This museum alone, was worth the trip to China!

"Clean looking room, spacious, felt up to date. The negatives – despite non smoking room it stunk of cigarettes, had to open balcony doors – not ideal in February. Secondly, when arrived staff tried to say we had booking for two single twin rooms, despite clearly booking stating twin DOUBLE rooms – So either they are lying at the point of booking or staff at check-in are lying . Eitherway not what expect from this tier of hotel and left a sour taste in the mouth before holiday has started. "
