"Great price for Vancouver. Neighbourhood had lots of food options. Modern entry into hotel room has no keys needed, and everyone is given a code. Staff were very friendly and helpful suggested places to eat in area. The hotel is super clean and the beds are comfortable. Furniture was a little dated, but that does not bother me. You can tell that some renovations are being done, but it did not disrupt our stay."

"The day I was to arrive, the hotel messaged me...we are overbooked, and are moving you to another property. 5 miles from where I desired to be. Upon arrival, I learned 2 other guests were also displaced. The manager didn't speak English. Required all communication via txt. She hung up on me. Shared bathroom. Kitchen area a total disaster. No cups , or coffee/tea service. Never did see any staff. Sink full of dishes. I'm not sure the back door was ever closed/locked overnight. Didn't feel very...

"I booked this hotel as I was attending a business conference a few blocks. I knew it was an older hotel and wasn't expecting much, just a decent place to spend the night for a reasonable price. However, I was very pleasantly surprised, first with the lovely lady that greeted me upon arrival and checked me in ( I am sorry I don't recall her name). She surprised me with some lovely snacks (compliments of the hotel) to take to my room. The room was newly renovated and very clean. The bathroom was clean with new amenities and a lovely modern mirror with light accent. I was impressed with the bathroom as this is an important aspect when I travel (that bathrooms be very clean). The room had a nice lounge couch for watching TV, along with fridge, microwave and complimentary Kuerig coffee - all things I appreciate when travelling. There was also a small balcony, although it was raining so I didn't use it - but a nice extra feature. The location was also very convenient for my travels as it was just a block away from the Trans Canada Hwy (Hwy 1), and easy to navigate to arrive and leave the city. I will definitely stay again."

"This older property was well located for us being within walking distance of Vancouver General Hospital's Shin Cancer treatment centre. Although we didn't use all of the amenities, such as coffee machine, kettle, and fridge we availed ourselves of shower, beds, and on the last day, delightful breakfast which included an omelett. The rooms were well secured, warm, and comfortable although they were not wheelchair accessible. There was an off-street parking space."

"The property at 2930 E Pinder St. Vancouver (Nice Home in Vancouver) was clean and cosy. I spent five nights at this property and at no time saw any staff or cleaning personal. I actually spent two entire days at the property and such was the case. I experienced total privacy as if I were the only person at the property. I emailed the host to notify them that the front door key pad was not working if the door was not fully bedded into the door jam. The door was swelling due to moisture and would appear to be closed but was not. The front door exterior lights were never lit at night making it difficult to see the key pad. This property is an older designed home in an older neighborhood which was converted into a eight room commerical enterprise. I recieved no reply from the host even days after sending the e-mail upon leaving the property."

"Property did not disappoint. The finishes were amazing. Everything felt brand new. Location was a bit far from things but we rented a car and enjoyed the underground parking. Amazing stay for a week."
