Walked in the front door to be greeted pleasantly & checkin process completed, simple, quick. Room is pleasant, too tired to go out but dinner in hotel restaurant was quite a pleasant surprise. Clam chowder was amazing, calamari a little more done than personal preference would like but good, chicken strips were outstanding and yam fries were excellent. Wait staff were super pleasant and attentive. I’d definitely come back if opportunity arose.
I almost hate to write this review because, I don't want the secret get out. The Cambie Lodge B&B is affordable, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Turning the corner onto 13th, we were met with Victorian charm. The Cambie Lodge B&B is a few doors off of Cambie on an inviting street lined with old shade trees. We booked this hotel for two nights before getting on a cruise! It was the best price in the area and was close to Stanley Park. We had our two kids with us, 5 & 3. It was absolutely PERFECT! I was shocked because I wasn’t expecting much. It was in the best location! We ate breakfast just a block away at the red umbrella every morning, and it was so yummy! There was a pizza place right across the street as well as a convenient store and a smoothie place! Honestly, there were so many restaurants...
