"Premium room very noisy outside. Backed onto loading bay or something. Lift out of order and no food after 8.45. But breakfast fine and staff helpful."

"Excellent and friendly staff. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. Bar was well stocked. Had a great room looking out over the sea. Very clean. Wi-fi throughout hotel was excellent. As it was my birthday the staff gave that extra bit to make our stay special. Would definitely return but would opt for the balcony rooms on the top floor."

"Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was clean . However was very tired and need of a freshen up. Could not turn shower off so had to be moved rooms. Second room lock was a bit fishy and needed lots of pulling/pushing to secure locking "

"We had a lovely stay at the Imperial. Although on arrival we thought the exterior looked tired and was worried about what the interior would be like. Nevertheless we needed not to be concerned as it is in a very good condition internally. Our room was a nice size and probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever had at a hotel. The breakfast was of a good standard. One tiny complaint is they I had to.pay for the car park. Overall it’s a lovely hotel, nice staff and a very pleasant stay in Torquay. "
