The Puteaus Palace is hands down the most incredible place my husband and I have ever stayed! We made a visit for our honeymoon this year and the architectural details, landscape design, staff, food, rooms and amenities are impeccable! We never wanted to leave and considered cancelling the rest of our trip to extend for several more weeks. Sadly, the COVID pandemic has forced them to close early this year but as soon as they reopen next year I would run to this absolutely incredible hotel....

Hidden gem in a sea of options. A bit of a hilly walk down to the beach but after eating your weight in beach gelato-it’s a welcome jaunt to get steps in and burn off the calories. The area is a bit busy but we liked the location to get to other less crowded beaches. Breakfast was absolutely amazing-I will miss it terribly and will not be able to stomach DIY waffle makers and stale tasteless pastries in US hotels. Staff was helpful and extremely attentive.

The hotel is family owned and the staff very friendly and trying to help with everything we needed. I think it has also be recently remodeled. I was traveling with my wife and my parents and our two rooms were facing the sea with a great view. The hotel also had a restaurant and the seafood was excellent. We also enjoyed the beach very much as it was not crowded and I wish we stayed there longer. One of our best experiences in our trip to Croatia

I NEVER write reviews but felt I had to write one for this new family-run hotel. What a delightful experience! My father has Parkinson's Disease, and this will probably be his last trip abroad. I had to find a hotel that could accommodate his disability (he has to use a walker). You won't find a better place to stay in Split. Love this place! Everything is exceptional from the moment you walk in. Upon arrival, the woman behind the desk took about 15 minutes showing us on a map for us to keep where everything was to make it very easy.
