Loved my stay at Engiri. I didn't want to leave. The place, the staff, the warm staff, the elephant and hippos roaming about in the mornings - I loved it all.

This hotel has a very nice view over the lake. The background sound are birds singing and not the traffic. Very good service and friendly staff. With the big garden Ihink this is a family friendly place. Not very central but with a car or boda boda it does not take much time to get to the city center.

Very nice staff and a very good check-in and welcome. The room was huge and extremely comfortable including a kitchen. The bathroom was great - large modern and clean. One morning there was no water in the shower and they got it fixed immediately. The breakfast was really good as was the service. The breakfast room and bar are open air on the top so offer very nice views of the city. The gym has three exercise bikes and that really helps in a city like Kampala where it is hard to walk/run.

Stayed at Greendale for about a month. Really well furnished. I'm a germaphobe and this place is mostly immaculate. Friendly stuff, the pool came in handy during the hot days. Responsiveness from management to issues is satisfactory. I think the only suggestion I would make is the electricity pay-as-you go component ought to be mentioned on the site as something that has to be reloaded by the tenant after the initial tokens run out so one knows what to expect. The staff was very friendly and accommodate our requests. The food was tasty, fresh juices and fruit every morning with their staples. Phoebe, James and Eve welcomes us very well and made our stay feel like home. Clean sheets and towels everyday. We stayed in a room without AC and it worked out well because of the screen door allowed a nice breeze and prevented mosquitoes. Also the day guard always welcomed us with a hardy hello.
