"Me and my boyfriend stayed at Hotel Riu SFE for a week and it was amazing. We were nervous going into the trip as the reviews had shared that the food was “mid” however, I beg to differ. The food was delicious. There was a wide variety of food options available, Asian cuisine, Italian, American Country, Mexican, Steakhouse and a buffet with a mix of all kinds of foods. We didn’t try the steakhouse due to the wait times (15-30min-not crazy but we weren’t all that interested in steak when we have Alberta beef lol) but the Mexican restaurant was the best food we’ve ever had. The service was amazing, they are all very attentive, engaging and friendly. There’s 7 pools with 5 of them being swim up bars with the most creative and friendly bartenders. The beach was our favourite part. Although the current is strong we were still able to go in a few feet and feel the waves. The sellers on the beach can be overwhelming but they are very friendly if you respond kindly. The room itself was great, very clean and always stocked. The entertainment is amazing. We had watched an Abba theme and Michael Jackson show and both were unreal. The Riu entertainment staff are truly amazing and go above and beyond to make your vacation 10x better. There’s always an activity by the pool, whether it be water polo or dance lessons it’s always fun. Overall, our stay was a 10/10 and would highly recommend!"

"Nice clean resort. Staff members are amazing. Entertainment staff gets everyone involved. House keeping did a great job. At one point they were cleaning the room and we had to get something out, they verified it was actually our room prior to letting us enter. Over all great small family resort."
"The room was clean, and the service was great. However, it was on the older side. The air conditioner wasn't that strong. It helped cool us down after being out in the hot sun, but it never really went below 74 degrees. Pro, there was a Starbucks located at the hotel so if you needed caffeine, it's very convenient because the in-room coffee machine was not that great. Con, next to the hotel, on the side where our room was located, was a big construction site. Construction was happening during the day and during the evening, all the way until 2 a.m. or 3 a.m., so it was pretty noisy."
"The hotel is worth the money—the rooms are new and clean. They clean and change the towels every day. The beach is also cleaned daily, and the staff is very polite. I would have liked a bit more variety in the food."
"The is property is beautiful I will give it 8/10 our room the rr shower didn’t work the blow dryer didn’t work.
Now the reason why I rate 8/10 is because the food is horrible we stayed Friday-Tuesday and the only good thing we’re the Tacos. Food needs flavor a lot of empty trays I wouldn’t go back just because of the food. The place overall is beautiful."
