Food and hospitality are amazing . Unfortunately for us the beach area was not available due to excessive see weed accumulation. If you are a person that’s likes to visit hotels for there beach accessibility this is not one of them . I would definitely check before booking how accessible the beach is during your stay . I would definitely stay again if the beach was accessible. But what they lack in beach accessibility they make up with hops and food. Black Iron restaurant is a must !!!

The AVA Resort was amazing, beautiful and I highly recommend for anyone to stay there. This goes especially for families since there are a lot of things to do there for all ages. This hotel is the best, the staff is very kind and helpful, i sature 2 nights and i have nothing but good memories, the pool and the activities they have were really good, there is many things to do, the room was very nice and super clean, the food and drinks were AMAZING and also something that’s not very common in hotels, the gym was incredible with every machine you can imagine, it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed for sure 10/10.

The hotel was was really clean the food was okay. The restaurant food portion is really small. The huge property smells like the beach put the smelly smell. Definitely book through hotels.com you receive credits that you would to pay for bowling, escape room, golf, baseball, spa, & laser tags to our extra fees but through hotel you only pay 30%. A lot of walking through the hotel can stress that enough 😭! Very close to the airport. Believe it or not uber was actually good to get around in. Please bring cash can’t stress that enough either.

The music at the adult pool bar needs to be looked into. Need more up beat, Spanish music. Staff is great and very friendly, the food is probably the best I’ve had at any resort in Cancun and the resort is very clean! Beach is not useable and there is a strong stench coming from the ocean due to heavy Sargassum. Overall, I would stay here again!

The hotel is great. Great food, great staff and great amenities. Unfortunately the beach was full of algae and smelled bad and our room had a bathroom door that did not close and a leak from the bathroom appeared on the last days. All the North section of the hotel smelled like humidity/ mold. Very unpleasant smell. I had to wash all the close that I took even the ones I did not used since the smell got impregnated on everything.

The hotel is beautiful, just like the pictures. The staff is very nice, helpful and respectful. The food good. I couldn’t get to the beach due to the massive sargassum bloom which also cause a very bad smell in the entire lobby. Other than that, me and my husband enjoyed our weekend at AVA. And plan to return with our kids.
