"It served a purpose being near the airport. Rooms were decent but what’s with the humming noise. Seems like it’s in a lot of comments yet not addressed. Breakfast was lame and overpriced."
"Great staff and a very well kept property. Rooms are very small like you are in a huge city but it’s fine. Decent breakfast and the restaurant was solid. Bartoz at the check in was especially the highlight."
Aurora Hotel at Reykjavik-Keflavik Airport Terminal KEF
10/10 Excellent
"We planned Aurora because we wanted to spend time in Reykjavik but due to time constraints we didn’t make the trip. Be aware that Reykjavik is up to 1 hr each way. Also know that even if you have a connecting flight you have to go through additional customs once you get to Iceland and what they allow is different from the UK. They will also measure and weigh your luggage so make sure your carry on meets the restrictions."
"Comfortable beds, all kitchen amenities. Ordered the breakfast basket each morning to delicious treats and fresh sourdough bread that arrived on time. Room lighting is a bit dim and no individual thermostat controls. It did get a bit warm, but there was a patio with lovely breeze. Easily walkable distance to the bus pickups and shops. "
"The Hotel is very accessible to transportation. A lot of restaurants around the area. The hotel has good breakfast buffet choices. The staff are very nice and accommodating. I have a lovely stay here. Bonus part I have a ocean view!"
"The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We opted for the breakfast which did not disappoint as there were lots of great options for the family."
