Clean room and easy check in with good parking. Good amenities (fridge and coffee). However no hot water for shower (they are in a cold spot and it had run out by the time we arrived), building works near location so not quite as advertised in the view, thin curtains meant we had to hang towels up over windows to block out light. Very pricey for what we got.

This place is great for an overnight stay. Very clean, quaint, easy to get to. Peaceful and felt remote, without it actually being remote. Our key pad has some issues, but that is normal due to the weather. They helped us right away with getting back in. Highly recommend this place

The cottage was in a very convenient location in Vík. Parking was right in front of the cottages, and the place was very clean and spacious for two people.However, the major issue was how clearly you could hear everything going on in the cottage next door. I could hear full conversations until late at night, even though the neighbors were not being unusually loud. For the price we paid, I would perhaps look at other options next time.

The photographs on the website are very misleading, as they were obviously taken before it became a building site. Also the outside of the cottage was a little shabby. The blinds are inadequate for blocking out the summer light. However, the restaurant at the hotel was excellent.
