Hotel Von was an amazing wonderful place to stay for our week in Reykjavik. It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and excellently located. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I am so grateful for how staying there contributed to a beautiful trip. I would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Von, and hope I get a chance to do so again!

Great location for shops, restaurants, tour pickups. Everything was easily walking distance from the hotel. Room was adequate but our view was a fire escape and located over garden area used on weekends for late night revealers.

Clean hotel and optimal location to the downtown area. Adjacent to a lot of shops as well as a grocery store to buy snacks and groceries. Will definitely come back to this hotel in the future!

8/10 Very good

Only complaints were the dimness of the rooms and how thin the towels. We assumed daily housekeeping was automatic. However, there was one day where we had left the door sign to clean the room and it was not cleaned. The staff however, was very helpful and accommodating so we are not going to give bad scores due to what we felt may have been a mistake. You cannot beat the convenient location of this hotel. Definitely right in the heart of the city center. Would we stay here again? Yes!

Great location in the heart of Reykjavik. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and modern. I can’t quite understand the European half-shower wall with no door, so I often had to clean up a wet bathroom floor. Not much of a view for their ‘glass house view’ advertised rooms, but I wasn’t really there to spend time in my room. All in all, a great value for the money. My only suggestion when booking is to ask for a front, street view.
