"Very good set up. Good size room and well maintained. Great for my one night quick stay in Buxton for business."

"Despite the building’s age and few quirky things like the lift we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. Well maintained, comfortable beds and large room. Food was delicious , very good value and beautifully presented. Lovely to have ‘linens’ in the dining room."

"Enjoy the stay nice quiet street not far from town centre, room had rustic charm and very high bed, wife needed a leg up 😂"

"I loved the hotel, I was amazed how a hotel of that size can keep such high standards and yet not be too expensive that it is out of everybody’s reach."

"Loved the property, immaculate, clean, beautifully presented with all modern touches. A short walk to the pavilion gardens and Buxton town center. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book again if I was returning to the area."

"I always enjoy staying at Queens head when I am in Buxton: good people, good service and unpretentious lovely place to stay."

"Quiet location on a small farm (29 acres) just outside Buxton. Very well equipped kitchen and good internet/wifi. Friendly helpful owners who live on-site. Great location and a base for the Peak District walks plus there is a nice walk from Cowdale farm to King Sterndale. If you’re into climbing there is a rock face used by climbers less than 500 metres from the accommodation."
