We stayed 3 nights at the Kingscroft Guest House. Vol was very welcoming from the moment we walked in their front door. He was very detailed in explaining how everything worked in our room, as well as other features of the house. He often gave us tips for exploring and eating in the area. The bathroom was really clean with quality fixtures. The room was beautiful and the bed comfortable. It's on an old farm on the outskirts of town so it was really quiet.

The hotel is beautiful and has great amenities. Great location.

We had a good experience and would definitely stay there again. If coming by train, schedule a taxi ahead of time - there’s a long walk up a steep hill(which isn’t fun if you have much luggage).

Staff was very courteous and helpful. Anne was very helpful in finding a place that I could purchase a cane which I had forgotten at home. The hotel was located close to the old city, a nice walk to everything. Breakfast was good. Wait staff were pleasant and courteous.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is a beautiful example of a victorian grand dame, elegant and gracious. The menu is a little lacking in finesse and could use being updated.
