My wife and I had a cozy stay at the Nature Lodge Sepilok. The bed was very comfy and the rooms are quite nice. Ours had a very nice outdoor bathroom. Location wise it is great with easy walking to go see the Orangutans, Sun Bears, and Rain forest discovery center. The staff was very welcoming and quite helpful throughout our stay and got us to the airport on time.
Super cool resort on stilts with pleasant cabins designed to blend into the natural environment... with a/c, mosquito nets, and hot water shower. The resort picks you up in Sandakan and brings you back... I recommend the 3D/2N package which includes meals.
The hotel is very nice for a jungle resort and the rooms are cleaned daily. We stayed in one of the superior rooms and the A/C worked very well. The food is excellent at the hotel and they have beer and wine too. Service is amazing and we even saw monkeys on the property in the middle of the day. Pool is nice when it’s not raining and it’s an easy walk to the orangutan and sun bear sanctuaries. The wifi is also surprisingly very fast, I was getting 60-80mb on average. Definitely would recommend...
Just outside the city in a parklike lication. Spotless clean and free from bad odors. The staff is markedly attentive and friendly. Helped me to set up and use a Grab ap to get resonable rates to visit town and other locations. The food is well prepared. Semi pet water monitors vist the pool area. Waterslides, jacuzzi, on premises. Refrigerator and coffee in room. Massage available.
The staff were all nice and kind, very professional. The hotel was ok, lots of movie memorabilia. The restaurant next to the hotel serves good food. Area around the property is not pleasing, it's dirty and smells. The city is great, with lots of stores around. They should keep it cleaner, no littering.

Took a Superior King room. Room was smaller than expected, but no complaint since the price was very reasonable. Clean room, good services, all I could ask for a night of comfortable stay.
Excellent reception, friendly staff, very clean and spacious room. Loved the layout of the room. Great to have AC. Took awhile to cool the room off. Street vendors with food nearby. Grocery store across the way. Great pop-up breakfast place down the block.
