The fall foliage season is late November to early December. Entrance fee is 500 yen (totally worth it, trust me!)

Closest Station: Hibarigaoka Sation on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. From there, walk to Hibarigaoka Station North Bus Stop and take the  Hibari73 bus (headed for Shiki Station) and get off at Heirinji bus stop, about a 15min ride.
