Great place.

Amazing staff. Luxurious hotel. Free parking. Spacious room with a nice view of lake Fuschl (Grand Deluxe Room) if you can afford an upgrade definitely go with it. Spa facilities are a must try, they have an indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, as well as massage therapy. Dining is expensive as expected in such places. In short it was a great experience to stay in this castle if you have the opportunity to spend a couple of days here don't miss it.

Excellent stay! The pictures don't do justice as the hotel is immaculate and the views are heavenly. You would love the fact that it's run by the Stadler family who works everyday together to provide you with the best service. The property is beautiful, the rooms very clean, modern, and spacious and the staff is truly top notch. The woman who works at the front desk (manager…maybe owner?) is exceptionally kind, accommodating, and informative. We will absolutely stay again.

This place takes you back in time, with all the charm of the old days combined with the functionality of modern times. Excellent service, amazing food, super pet-friendly, and a perfect location—ideal for visiting Salzburg or simply enjoying the peace of nature!

Leopoldskron was a highlight of a 6 country/7 hotel trip. Friendly staff, beautiful property, and easy access to old town via car or taxi (typically about 10 euro each way). The main building is an amazing thing to explore...beautiful rooms and great history. Our room wasn't in that building...more plain jane/contemporary design but on the same property. Hotel staff was very friendly/helpful. Grounds/gardens were a bit rough...didn't detract from the stay at all, but was surprising to see...

This is an annex of the wonderful little hotel Trumer Stube, and is a more than serviceable walk-up apartment in a very central and exciting location. The owners are on site at the hotel, which is across the street, and they are the BEST. The apartment we had faced the street so was not completely quiet, but it worked for us. Some people find the walk-up awkward with luggage. Like almost all of the airbnb setups nowadays, the apartment is somewhat basic and cheaply furnished, but I would...

Loved the location of the hotel. You can see the city below from the mountain and you can look at the Alps mountain range. You can also go on a hike. I wish I had more time. I will definitely visit this location again.

Easy check-in and parking, clean rooms, excellent breakfast, and appreciated the free drink. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is perfectly situated in the city if you want to see the city by foot. Lots of restuarants and pubs nearby as well as sightseeing points of interest. Staff were great and you can leave cases there should you geet there early of leave well after chek out time. Will definetly book in again, when I go back

This is a fantastic place. Has the old world charm and yet with all the amenities inside the room that makes your stay comfortable. The room was very quiet and we had some good view of the town. It's in a historical part of the city (though not in old town) and at a few minutes walking distance from all main attractions , the Mirabell palace and from the start of the Sound of Music tour.

A warm greeting with champagne sure goes a long way in my book. Classy but not fussy describes our delightful check-in experience. A clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed welcomed us upstairs. Such a lovely hotel with amazing views! Owner greeted me and made me feel at home.

Located on a square, directly opposite Mozart's house, this graceful and gracious hotel was close to everything we wanted to do. It is within sight of the pedestrian bridge (the "locks bridge") across the river to the old town center. Our junior suite was large and well decorated, with a wonderfully spacious bath. Mirror everywhere. Comfortable bed. Breakfast is a feast and included with the room. Irresistible pastries, abundant and delicious cheeses, slices of ham, prosciutto, turkey...

While it was tricky for the Uber driver to get to the location, it was a very convenient location, close to dining and shopping and the fortress, which was what we wanted. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most spacious room we had on our trip that spanned five countries! Quiet location, comfortable bed. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly and would love to go back!
