"Loved the staff and the room was fantastic! Great place to stay xoxo"

"Lovely old pub with character. Great full English breakfast and very friendly staff. There is street parking available but would recommend the parking behind the church opposite. It's only a couple of quid for all day. Make sure that you try out the selection of ales and ciders available at the bar."

"Comfortable bed and very nice breakfast."

"Lovely place in a beautiful spot, just be mindful booking rooms inside as if your over 5'7 you will hit your head on everything"

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Roost. The room was clean and super comfortable. Very detailed check in/check out/parking instructions were sent in advance which made it really easy to find on a dark stormy night! There was a small fridge in the room and there were plenty of suggested places to eat in the welcome pack. It was the perfect lay over for us with a small human in tow :)"

"Lovely cottage, large, clean, all amenities, family games and movies. Would definitely stay again, so quiet and peaceful. Great place for the family. We travelled with a 16yr old, 8 yr old and 21 month old"

"Where to begin? Beyond perfect and worthy of special mention: 1. Hottest hot water in the world 2. Most wonderful contrast of nearby church bells on the hour and total silence with the window closed 3. The most wonderfully different 'theme' and surroundings you'll find Did I say 'perfect' and more?"

"Beautiful, comfortable and cosy room in lovely location. We felt at home. Excellent breakfast"

"Excellent place to stay! We traveled from America and stayed for 11 nights. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Excellent!"

"Beautiful setting with excellent biodiversity. Cabin itself is dated. Given that it’s on a fish farm it’s probably great as a base for fishing but wasn’t the best cabin I’ve booked for a family trip with two small children."
