"The hotel itself is in a great central location. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and the ballpark within walking distance. The room itself showed its age. Carpets, walls, bathroom, all showed their age. Bed was clean, no issues there. Biggest issues were the shower water temperature and the air conditioning unit. Shower took forever to warm up. We nearly called the desk to request a switch before it finally warmed up. The AC died midway through our stay and the temp jumped up to 77 in the room. After shutting it off for a bit, and finally charged back up but never got below 74, and the humidity was uncomfortable. The AC was extremely noisy, making loud clanking noises all throughout the night. Was a tough couple nights of sleep in Room 1410. You get what you get for the price, as it was one of the most reasonable central hotels. Wouldn’t stay again unless necessary."
"The pictures did not accurately reflect the property. The hallway carpets were dirty, and guests frequently left trash outside their doors, where it often remained for extended periods. There was also an unpleasant odor throughout the hotel. The rooms themselves were in better condition than the common areas, but overall, I would not recommend this as a first-choice stay."
"I wanted to give this property 5 star but unfortunately the food was not that great, I had room service twice and both times the meals were ehh. Service was excellent however."
"We have stayed at this hotel a few times. The last trip to Cleveland, we were lucky enough to meet Chuck the bartender. We had amazing conversations with him and spoke about him on our way out to Cleveland this year. We were so excited that to see that he was working the first night we got in (and it was the only night he was working while we were in town). Again, we got to sit down and had a drink and some more great conversations with Chuck. He’s now a staple to our trips to Cleveland, he’s honestly a great part of the staff.
Our room was great, only downside was that the bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned from the last guest and the remains from their night before…."
"Room smelled terrible. We even asked to move to a new one, and that smelled even worse! The bathroom was dirty as well. In general really not worth the price."
