The Gran Reserve Inn is a beautiful property in the vineyard. The furniture and rooms are very comfortable and well sized for tall people. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets so soft! The private patios that overlook the vineyard are comfy, cozy, and relaxing Breakfast is delicious and served on the covered porch with vineyard views. The staff are friendly and helpful and do an excellent job. The Inn provides a nice, relaxing break. We highly recommend it!

Lovely secluded (but still close to town) place to stay with very attentive service and a delicious breakfast in a beautiful garden.

The only thing lacking is better water pressure and a real gym - don't plan to get a workout in while you are here.

Gorgeous and Opulent. Absolutely amazing service. Friendly and welcoming staff (even for us "non-rich"). Grounds, restaurants and decor stunning. Like walking into the Past as if it were today. Room was fabulous. lunch at the Polo lounge was delicious and excellent service.

Our second visit was flawless (I said in my last review that this was a place you'd want to come back to again and I meant it). The HBA doesn't rely on flash and superficial luxury to impress. Superb comfort, attention to detail, and quality of service is what sets it apart. The staff is truly the best I've seen in all my travels and you can feel they enjoy and have a genuine pride in managing their guests. Great resort, nice amenities. Loved the fresh squeezed orange juice every morning with the paper. Great tennis lessons. Nice spa and fitness center with a variety of Pilates, yoga and spin classes. Good proximity to Del Mar and La Jolla for beach and restaurants. Really enjoyed the week we spent here. It was a shame to leave for the day to visit the San Diego Zoo or other attractions.

Great hotel! Just a short stop on the way to SF so we didn’t get to fully appreciate the area, but loved the room and amenities offered upon arrival.

Everything about the hotel was awesome. From the time we arrived and got greeted, to entering our room and using the amazing facilities. This hotel is truly a hidden gem in Palo Alto. The staff were great and service was top notch. Thanks for making our stay memorable!

From the time we arrived and were greeted by Katy to the time we left three days later we were treated royally. The B&B is so charming and the grounds are park-like. We stayed in the Sun Room and although small inside, the private deck is amazing! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfasts served on our deck were delicious and served graciously. The location is so convenient for walking around downtown but we enjoyed the atmosphere at the Simpson House so much that we hung out...

Awesome place and friendly staff!

Great experience! All staff was friendly, ready to help. We are at Il Vigneto and had a wondeful dinner. Nothing to complain about at all. Great 'Staycation' for a local, or week away for those coming form out of town.

From the moment we arrived bedraggled & exhausted after being mandatory evacuated from the beastly Thomas fire, we felt like the Four Seasons understood our plight & did everything in their power to relax us and provide a comfortable oasis. This is a truly one of a kind property. We stayed here with our two year old for most of Christmas and had dinner in the Bear every single night. The food there is excellent, we had the crispy rice, with lamb shank, wagyu short rib, and even specials on some nights (snapper, sea bass). For our child, they had great options too. We experienced staff that were accommodating and friendly both in the hotel and at Sol Bar. The amenities such as chai tea, bottle water, bicycles and complimentary Mercedes Benz made it worth it. Sol Spa was a tranquil experience until the cashier presumptively added a tip onto my bill and practically embarrassed me so I'd sign it. Apparently, that is what the Sol Spa suggests clients to pay. A small getaway for my wife and I’s first anniversary. The staff was amazing and had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room. Room was freshly renovated and classy. The bell person and the valet were very nice. Tremendous experience!
