"We found the spot last minute due to rain making camping difficult. They were very helpful and accommodating for our late check in. Much less expensive than staying in Nevada City while still being an easy 10 min drive back to town to explore downtown Nevada City and get dinner. In the morning we had a good/filling buffet style breakfast before getting back on the road to explore the country roads and swimming holes. Will be recommending to friends as an easy alternative to camping when exploring the Tahoe National Forest and Yuba River areas."

"Charming little spot. I didn't realize until I got there that I booked a room with a shared bathroom, so make sure to read carefully! I ended up being cozy enough though."

"Experience was amazing. Kylie was amazing and really made our stay a pleasant one. She even helped find my nieces blanket she had left in one of the rooms. We will be staying again on the 11-13 and hope we get her checking us in"

"What a beautiful hotel. Beautiful town with lots to do. Loved everything about it. The staff was very kind, professional, friendly. I guess I missed that it was a tv-free hotel but, we managed. Frittata and coffee each morning. GREAT brunch. Food there is amazing. Enjoyable bar down in the Lobby area. We will definitely go back."

"What a sweet place and a far cry from cookie-cutter low end motels. Beautiful location, nice rooms, and a very nice restaurant on premises. The motel is a project of a recovery program called Teen Challenge so it's a bonus to support them but the motel stands on its own as a 'find' off Highway 80. Highly recommended"
