A very reasonable hotel option in this beautiful town. Weirdly, the mattresses were on a platform that had metal plates around the sides. This wouldn't have been an issue, except that every time you moved or got in or out of bed, it would make a clanging noise! There was a long bathroom counter with one sink located outside of a separate toilet and shower area with its own door. There was plenty of room for two friends to get ready in the morning. There was a restaurant right next door that looked very good but we didn't have a chance to try it. Only a short drive to the historic center of town. All in all a great economical option for us.

Best cheap motel option in the Grass Valley / Nevada City area. Walking distance to restaurants and stores. Safe area. Clean, basic. Fridge worked, as did microwave and coffee brewer. Good heat. Hot water took 3 minutes to warm up but when it did it was plenty toasty. Bed, sheets and pillow got the job done. Gal at front desk was friendly and helpful. All the motel I needed.

Overall a good place to stay

The stay was good. Small parking lot with some awkward spots. Overall it was a good experience with friendly staff. The room was a little dated it felt and the bed was not the quietest being on a metal fram like a hollow filing cabinet.
