So the Inn and receptionists, waitstaff fine dining restaurant were great. Food was phenomenal too. But the majority of the staff at the restaurant across the street were cold, unfriendly and a bunch of prudes. I politely asked one of the waiters if i could sit at the bar and he said “Well can you? Like physically. Go see the hostess she needs to do a headcount.” I go see the hostess and she was like hmm 1 person not sure let me see. Made a face and spoke to her colleague. I was in room 12. Loved the deck and the view of the harbour. The town rolls up the sidewalks at 8, so very quiet at nite. Could hear the roar of the surf and sea lions barking at night. Friendly staff, good mattress, clean room. I will definately stay again. Only thing I would change is to have a mini fridge in the room.
The room was clean and comfortable. There is a shared kitchen with a full size fridge, microwave and coffee/hot chocolate/tea. Also a vending machine with oatmeal, cup of noodles and a variety of snacks. There was no fitness center or jacuzzi but we enjoyed hiking in the area to the beaches and tide pools. There were many nice restaurants to choose from with delicious seafood. A free bottle of wine was included in our stay. We enjoyed our time there!
We stayed here for one night. It was lovely. The room was delightful. The best part was waking up and seeing the river in front of the deck we went outside and had our coffee on the deck and sat there for a few hours enjoying this amazing amounts of birds and seals going back-and-forth on the river. We were so happy to have a noon checkout so we could just lollygag and soak up the enjoyment of the space.
Great place, friendly staff. Comfortable accommodations with a nice breakfast. Pool is wonderful during the summer months. There are 2 great places to eat across the street right by the river-Farmhand & Stumptown brewery-very convenient. Also convenient to Armstrong Woods. Will be back!
Cant say this enough, our group LOVED Highland Resorts in Guerneville and want to return. The cabins are beautiful and comfortable. The people friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a retreat type atmosphere this is a wonderful place to be.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel, and the owners take such good care of their guests. I had to leave early for business, so they packed me a lunch bag and even personalized it. It reminded me of my school days! They’re amazing, and I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely property located in a beautiful area. The photos online matches in real life, as in no heavy airbrushing. Staff are courteous ,friendly and professional. Quiet surroundings. Great cocktails at the bar! We are a fan of this establishment.
Beautiful place! The staff was extremely personable, friendly and helpful. Got an upgraded room, which was impeccably clean, modern, yet cozy. So many lovely touches that made this a great stay, like the complimentary hot apple cider, staff knowing you by name, and watercolor map of the property. Delicious breakfast, and also highly recommend the dinner tasting menu! Will definitely be returning! Centrally located within the Russian River area.
The hotel grounds were lovely, and the room was comfortable and spacious, but the overall service, while friendly, is not as good as it should be for the price. The front desk completely neglected to tell us about any of the "extras", like the free wine tastings at Ferrari-Carrano vineyards (value of $35 per person), the complimentary daily wine tasting at the hotel, and the corkage fee waiver at John Ashe for bottles purchased at Ferrari-Carrano ($25 value).
