I had a wonderful, and far too brief, stay here! The location is off the beaten path, but the views are fantastic. Had the weather cooperated, it would be perfect for Northern Lights! This was the ideal place to stay while seeing the Peninsula, with just breathtaking views......glacier views in the back, crashing waves in the front. So quiet, well appointed and reasonable.

The location is as cool as it looks! Relaxing spot. Friendly host. Friendly horses. Highly recommend.

Truly one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed! It’s a very cozy farmhouse which has been passed down for generations and it was a wonderful experience. The host was very kind and even sat with us to tell us more about the Icelandic lifestyle. The property is in a beautiful valley with waterfalls and the ocean all within viewing distance.

The most friendly and helpful hotel staff we've ever met. The hotel is located in a beautiful valley that overlooks the hills and the sunset. The outdoor hot bath was an amazing experience and wonderful amenity. Breakfast was delicious as well. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

We stayed for only one night, but this is one of our favorite hotels. First of all, we are family of 5 and stayed in the family room. It is more than enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The hotel is also extremely well maintained and very clean. It is directly across the street from a grocery store. Also the buffet breakfast was by far the nicest one we’ve had as we’ve driven the ring around Iceland. I could not recommend this hotel enough if you’re looking to spend a couple of days in...

We stayed here for 1 night. We reached a bit after dark and it was our first night in Iceland. The guy at the reception did not understand much English. It was very dark as there is no light pollution. It would have been helpful if he had come with us to show the room, as we had to cross a little bridge after parking our car and we were fumbling in the dark. Just wanted to say the staff here made our trip memorable. The breakfast was fantastic. Prior to arriving I let the staff know we would be arriving early due to a early flight and needed to freshen up due to me proposing. They made the accommodation. Really nice property. Nice restaurant. Very clean and nice guesthouse. Spacious. Property has nice geothermal lagoon and cold lake.. that was awesome. Nice place for kids to run around and play. Really nice northern lights. Would stay here again for sure.

Rooms are in small wooden cabins, some of them with an excellent view on the waterfalls. Nice restaurant with good breakfast.
