Clean rooms, amazing breakfast. The restaurant was amazing. Staff was very nice. The hot tubs were clean but the algae on the wood barrels inside were a turn off.

8/10 Muy buena

An enjoyable final stop at the end of our Iceland holiday. The room and bathroom very very clean, nice to have a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was very good, some of the best we had in Iceland. The hotel restaurant, Calor, was also really nice. The staff were helpful when we had a couple of issues (one with our room and one when I got stuck in the lift!) The only thing is the bathroom design is a bit odd and the shower fully soaks the floor. It was cleaned each morning but still not ideal. It would have been helpful to be given instructions on how to find/use the hot tubs and sauna but they were great when we found them! Lastly there is a large greenhouse adjacent to the hotel which is lit incredibly brightly all day/night. Something to be aware of if you're in a room facing that direction!

We arrived late, after the hot tubs closed. We took advantage of then the next morning though before breakfast. It was a great way to start our day! We hope to return. Thank you for taking care of us.

Lovely hotel - one of the best we have stayed in in Iceland. Really helpful and friendly staff. Nice touches like help yourself coffee in the downstairs lounge. Sinks in the rooms are too small but that is the only negative we had. Highlight, however, is the restaurant! The views are good but the food is fantastic - easily the best we had in Iceland! There is a very talented chef at work here and you can see the care taken in the quality of the end product. Complemented nicely by the excellent serving staff, this is a place to remember for all the right reasons! Thank you.
