"Stayed one night before flying out. We were allowed to check in when we arrived early. Gift store was closed as were all surrounding shops as it was a Sunday. Room and hotel were clean.
Our undesirable view was the expansion they are doing in the hotel. Our hotel room window was covered in concrete splatter and dust and the construction noise started at 7 am. Nice rooftop restaurant with view of the ocean. Service at the restaurant was very slow. We had dinner and breakfast there. Food was average. "

"One hell of a birthday trip at this . People bragged about this property how they had welcome drinks we didn’t receive any. Property is dated. Our lamp shades were filthy and have visible water stains. We had to request for our laundry room to be unlocked. We didn’t have Internet for several days to throughout our trip so we could not work or watch the one tv that’s in the two bedroom townhouse and the property refused to compensate us. Visit at your own risk."
" My stay at the Pickwick Hotel in Belize City was wonderful, how accommodating the staff were. Before I arrived I messaged through Expedia and they arranged for a car to be waiting at the airport for a small fee, which made arriving in a new country very easy and stress-free.
The two ladies at the front desk were amazing—friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. When one of my tours cancelled last minute, they quickly helped arrange something else so my day wouldn’t be wasted. Justin, who had picked me up from the airport, took me out based on what I wanted to see for a small fee, similar to any tour company.
The next afternoon he took me through several local communities where I was able to eat local food and experience Belize beyond the typical tourist spots.
Overall, check-in and check-out were easy, my room was clean, the A/C worked well, and my ocean-view room gave me beautiful sunrises every morning. The location was also convenient with restaurants, a supermarket, and the bus within walking distance."
"Had ocean view but no chairs on tiny patio. Upgraded our room but our friends had a way bigger room. Guess upgrade was the tiny balcony. Breakfast buffet was horrible 2 days in a row. Lunch they would not bring food out to pool area and had to go eat Chinese buffet inside. Was silly because the first day they brought out the best chicken fingers I ever had to pool chair. Dave was awesome server"
"We had an ocean front suite that was immaculate inside, just needs some door seals to prevent the on shore breeze mixing with the foul stench of sargasm, the workers worked hard every day trying to clear it all. We loved relaxing on the jetti on the loungers, shame they didn't have one section to fish off of, no fishing allowed on their jetti, although you could just stand in the sea if need, as its really shallow.
Food was excellent, i just wished they wouldn't light the fire pit when the wind was on shore, filled the restaurant with smoke.
house reef/snorkel was rather dull, recommend they take their guests somewhere slightly better. "
"The staff is amazing, rooms amazing, and the vibe is amazing. I would definitely return. Restaurant is very good as well, pretty much farm/ocean to table. Highly recommend Captains dinner for an authentic Belizian experience and the avacado toast at breakfast! "
