Clean room, comfortable beds, convenient location, kind staff. Regarding reviews about location, most travelers know Belize City is a jumping off point to get to the islands, one nights stay is sometimes required for connecting flights and water taxi. The hotels are not resort quality because no one is staying there for a week. This was a safe and clean location for our one night stay and totally worth the cost. It was convenient to walk to the water taxi the next morning and we appreciated the helpful staff and balcony.

Our stay at Jovilee Hotel was exactly what we needed. The hotel is nice, safe and clean and has self parking on site. There is no restaurant in this hotel but there is an excellent chinese restaurant across the street and they deliver to your hotel room. The location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We recommend the Jovilee Hotel and will stay there again when we return to Belice.

Truly enjoyed our stay at this quiet, four story hotel (with a working elevator). Extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms were spacious, air conditioned and our queen sized bed very comfortable. The staff very accommodating, kind and professional. Great, secured hotel located in Belize City. The stay was good, the staff kept the place clean and they were very helpful. Carolina and her staff are great. The only negative finding was a smell coming from the drainage system. However, whoever stays there will be comfortable and love the restaurant next door!!!

The staff are great and pleasant, non-intrusive, and accommodating. There is 24 hour security with keyless entry into both the property and the rooms. It is within walking distance to the city and Tourism Village, ferries etc. If you are looking for a resort style hotel, this is not the place. The amenities are basic but exactly what a traveller on a budget needs. There are restaurants all over the place so food is never an issue. The room comes with a full sized coffee maker, microwave, bar fridge and ample dresser space/closet space.
