"The Royal Standard has modern newly refurbished rooms over the pub. These are surprisingly quiet and comfortable. We had a friendly welcome and slept very well. Good bathroom and comfortable bed and a really tasty breakfast to follow. We would definitely stay here again, particularly given the very convenient car park at the back."

We only had a one night stay while we took in a show in Ely. The staff were really happy and helpful. A small boutique establishment but steeped in history. Although there was maintenance work going on it didn't detract from a lovely experience, the whole building was still immaculately clean. I have stayed before, both times in room 4. It's perfect for a solo traveler like myself. The quirk of this room is that it has a private bath, but it's across they hall, and keyed as the room is. I don't mind--I like quirks. Some might.
The breakfast is lovely. Buffet style, though the server brings along tea or coffee, whatever you wish.
It's also in a lovely location, right along the river. A view of the narrowboats. :D

Very comfortable, clean, updated B&B in a beautiful small village just a few miles from Cambridge. Very welcoming owner and great made-to-order breakfasts. Definitely recommend.
Wonderful, tastefully updated property. No detail has been overlooked. Host is very friendly, although a bit too much though. He was very kind, but some people just prefer to be left alone.
This B&B was absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious, we stayed in the Nelson. Pillows and bed were very good. Cute little pub next door was a nice touch.
We loved our stay here! The countryside was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable and it was updated in a cool modern style. The parking was close and it was just a quaint, cool place! Didn't have enough time to eat there, but judging by the popularity, I'm sure it was good!
