Delightful staff, wonderful gardens and fabulous carrot cake. Such a shame the restaurant wasn’t open on the evening we stayed. Excellent.

Fabulous two nights stay in gorgeous characterful

My husband and I just enjoyed a fabulous two night stay in this beautiful historic hotel. It has been tastefully and luxuriously refurbished and is very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they all seemed to love working there. We would love to stay again. The views from the grounds and our room were amazing. Very lovely and well maintained landscaped gardens.

A fabulous hotel in beautiful grounds with views of Ely cathedral from about 2 miles away. I think I failed to notice when booking that the restaurant was closed on Monday evenings. They offer excellent cold charcuterie plates instead, but we had been looking forward to dining in the restaurant.

Great location with spectacular views . I only had breakfast and the breakfast staff were professional with a focus on the customer . My negative is my room had reduced headheight with the roof structure and I banged my head twice in the one night I spent there . I would stay again but seek a room without this issue .

WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. The staff are friendly and attentive, without being over the top, Millie was awesome and a real credit to The Old Hall.
