"The hotel was a great experience in every possible way. We stayed for two extra nights just to enjoy the hotel and Marsala in general. The hotel is a splendid breath of the old world. Large and airy rooms, exquisite service, wonderful pool and overtly glutenous breakfast combined with a traditional ambience gave an impression of time beyond time. Somehow it felt like we were in a classic movie. We fully recommend this hotel to the couples that want to spend some quality time."

"The staff was exceptional. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The hotel is gorgeous and our suite had a stunning view of the Ionian Sea. The mattress was wonderfully comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I loved seeing Andrea every morning. However, I would skip the restaurant, it was disappointing. There are many other great restaurants in Taormina. I highly recommend the Palazzo Vecchio. Truly terrific!"

"As this portion of my trip was my first time and experience in both Taormina and Sicily, so far it has been hard to top. I can not say enough good things about the quality of the hotel, the professionalism of the staff, and the other amazing guests whom stayed at the hotel. The Metropole itself is not only stunning, but the view overlooking Taormina is breathtaking. They have a variety of different types of rooms to choose from to suit your needs.
