"My experience was really great as a solo traveler for my birthday. The staff were very helpful with whatever i needed and answered questions. The room was cleaned everyday. The pools are amazing. You must try the spa!!!! That massage was top tier."

"This was by far the worst resort experience I have ever had. Upon arrival around 1:00 PM, we were encouraged to upgrade to the Signature Level and were told our rooms would be ready within a few minutes. However, when we checked back at 3:00 PM, we were informed that the rooms were still being cleaned and that no estimated completion time could be provided. We requested to speak with a manager multiple times, but no manager ever came to speak with us. The staff member who checked us in, Malecia, repeatedly gave us the same response and was dismissive and unapologetic throughout the process. We did not receive our rooms until approximately 5:00 PM. Unfortunately, the problems continued. One of our room keys did not work, and when staff opened the door, we found the room had not been cleaned at all—the bed was unmade, cushions were on the floor, and the room was clearly not ready for guests. The room had to be changed entirely. By the time everything was resolved and we were settled into our rooms, it was nearly 6:00 PM, and our first day at the resort was essentially lost. To make matters worse, Malecia told us we would receive a one-night refund as compensation, but at checkout we were offered only a $40 refund for the Signature Level upgrade. This level of service, communication, and resolution was extremely disappointing. In addition, Signature level upgrade that was supposed to give us access to concierge was useless. Food at ala carte restaurants was terrible."

"Heads up people the s hotel is indeed a hotel so its much smaller, hence the s stands for small, than your average resort. So it definitely has its pros and cons. Pros being everything is pretty easy to locate and fast to get to. You can literally get anywhere in or on the hotel property in 5 minutes or less. With that being said you can utilize basically every part of the s hotel every day with ease! The food was far better tasting than most food I've had at bigger resorts as well for sure! The breakfast , lunch, and dinner buffet are amazing and the food selection is great! Its more of a laid back chill hotel. Great for couples! Great friendly staff and no pressures into buying time shares my entire stay as well! Cons being no eating on the beach drinks are fine tho. Not much entertainment thru out the day. If so most of it ending no later than 10-11pm. So if the weather is bad you kinda have to stay indoors with very little to do. Seeing that 90% of the entertainment is outdoors. Long stays 5 or more days may become a bit boring if you dont have any excursions or anything outside of the hotel planned. Another con is rooms are pretty small unless you stay in one of the most expensive rooms they have to offer. Overall the s hotel was a pretty nice stay and I would stay again but not during the rainy season. I would rate the place 8.5 out of 10!"
