Highland Resort Hotel & Spa

"The highlight of my trip was this hotel.
The hotel offered a lot of amenities that I didn't know it had when booked originally. It's walking distance to the bus station which had shuttles from Tokyo and to Gotemba which made our Japan travel so accessible.
The hotel also offers their own free shuttle that goes around different stops in Fujiyoshida along with Lake Kawaguchi so you definitely have options of things to do and places to go.
The hotel also is located walking distance from an amusement park (free admission when booking with the hotel) along with a few cute theme 'parks'.
The food was amazing with a lot of choices (buffet, western restaurant, and japanese restaurant). The room we booked was huge...maybe a little too big for two of us but I'm not complaining. Our room faced Mt. Fuji and we were lucky enough to have a clear view of it.
I'm definitely booking here again. It was so worth it. "
"I really appreciate the shuttle bus driver and the lady that greeted us at the front of the hotel. Once we got to Kwawguichiko Station, we are exhausted and overwhelmed but as soon as we headed to the shuttle bus our driver took our suitcase and we felt safe and taken care of. Check-in was very smooth to our surprise and everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you to the hotel and staff for making everything wonderful.
The only surprise was that the check-out time was 10 am. That was inconvenient and out of the ordinary for us as it is earlier than most other hotels. I hope the hotel can reconsider to have check-out at 11 am like other places."
"Had an amazing quick stay. Hotel room is clean and super spacious. Staff was helpful and super nice. Nice view of Mt fuji from hotel and nearby streets. "
"The experience of staying at Konanou has been our favorite activity so far. Our room was spotless and beautiful, with our onsen setting a pleasant bubbling sound in the background and a view overlooking the lake. The kaiseki dinner was delicious both nights. The foot bath in the roof overlooks both the lake and Mount Fuji. We felt well cared for, comfortable, and relaxed from start to finish. "
