"We had booked and paid in full 6 months in advance and were told a few days prior our booking that the amenities (pool, sauna, steam room and parts of the gym) were closed for refurbishment. Not only the hotel did not answer our messages regarding a potential compensation or partial refund, they could only gave us a room upgrade when checking- in a reception. Although we appreciated the gesture, it was a small compensation considering we specifically booked the hotel for the amenities and were only told about the closure 3 days prior.... That being said, they have, by far, the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen and the staff was very friendly."

"I understand that it is a no-frills accommodation. But why do they have to save pennies on really inexpensive necessities, like an extra set of bedding for the third person or salt or pepper? Also, if you arrive before 3pm - you are out of luck, be prepared to wait outside with your luggage. On the other hand, the location was convenient "

"Basic but clean, safe and in a beautiful location. Room had a small toilet+shower wetroom and three small beds with foam toppers, alongside a small dining table and a sofa. Small radiator did a decent job of keeping cold out, but room was only ever mildly warm. Reception very friendly and helpful; free baggage store. Nice range of cafes and bakeries nearby. "
