"This hotel has an excellent location for walking around Riga’s old town and is walkable from the Riga bus station. Our room #310, for a couple, was on the third, top floor with a slanted ceiling and sky lights. It was very large, but one had to be careful not to hit your head when standing up to get out of bed. The bathroom was also large for European standards. Thick cotton robes and slippers were provided. There was a minibar (with good prices!), ironing board and a safe in the room. The breakfast is located outside of the hotel, directly across the street at a beer restaurant. The buffet breakfast had a variety of hot and cold foods and an amazing chia-seed coconut milk pudding, which is wonderful for lactose-intolerant people - thank you. The staff at both the hotel and the breakfast area were highly professional and polite."

"The staff where very helpful. We asked for a heater for the room and one was supplied very quickly. On the morning of my depart the staff provided me and my wife with breakfast because we had a very early departing flight."

"I prefer boutique hotels and this one didn’t disappoint. The rooms are well appointed without being superfluous. The only drawback and its blessing and a curse are the street facing rooms. The location is great but can get very, very noisy with revelers going until 5:00am. Otherwise, you can’t beat the location. Walking distance to almost all the top sites. GREAT and accommodating staff. Shout out to Arthur at the front desk!"

"Great lobby but the room was somewhat dull. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception and at the restaurant. Good breakfast. Good location on the edge of the old town and a nice park across the street. But the taxi was not able to drop me off or pick me up in front of the hotel due to some restrictions. Be prepared to walk a couple of minutes to the pickup spot."
