Hotels in Dorsoduro

"Really pleased we picked this property for our one night in Venice before our cruise. The location was quiet but there was still plenty of places nearby for a bite or a drink. Easy walk over to all the major sites as well."

"We enjoyed our second stay at the Accademia. Dorsoduro is our favourite area of Venice. Our room was spacious with a separate small sitting room. Tasty breakfasts with a lovely outside terrace. Helpful staff. "

"This hotel was amazing. Great location on the canal…not in the tourist area but close to the People Mover and Tranchetto, if getting on a cruise, and water taxi right at the door. The ambience was old world classy. Breakfast was a great way to start the day and evening appetizers were great. A/C worked perfectly and room was roomy and comfortable. The service from the desk staff was excellent. English spoken everywhere, but who doesn’t love to say Buonjiorno. We would DEFINITELY stay...

"It was amazing. We had an isolated apartment for 3, it was super clean and well equipped. Modern windows, so all the street noise is blocked. Helpful staff, very good breakfast. The location is convenient to explore city centre and at the same time not crowded."

"Fantastic place to stay. Wonderful people."

"Loved our stay here. The front desk team was very helpful, especially with getting our bags to us (which our airline rudely didn't bring in a timely manner). Check-in and check-out were easy, and we enjoyed the location in Dorsoduro. Loved the big shower and comfortable bed!"

"This is a Great Hotel except the rooms are a bit small. But I guess this is typical for Venice."

"We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect, a 10 min walk from the train station and in a quiet and pretty neighborhood of Dorsoduro. Our room had everything we needed and breakfast was fantastic. "

"Excellent service, nice and clean rooms. The location is perfect if you don't want to stay in the busiest areas of Venice, but you can still reach all popular tourist destination by foot."

"Great location! Clean, quiet room, fast and smooth check in! The bed was very comfortable! Highly recommend!"

"Small. Stylish (like a W hotel in miniature). Exceptionally thoughtful arrival experience. Gets the details right. Comfy beds. Good shower. Great location tucked away from the hordes but just 3 min to the San Basilo Terminal and vapparetto stop. The Zattere waterfront, grocery, cafes are all right there. Be sure to visit the artists’ collective shop a few doors down!"

"The staff were super kind, the location was perfect (Dorsoduro was our favourite area, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Would happily stay again!"

"Beautiful hotel close to everything. Super convenient for water taxis, private and public. Easy transfers to airport. Classy place!!! Loved our stay!!!"

"Really unique property with beautiful, “Italy feeling” rooms. The steps to walk up into the hotel felt historic and welcoming. Good location (20-24 min walk to the Basilica of St Mark and Doge’s palace (which is a nice walk to see other parts of Venice). Our stay was quick but we enjoyed it. Elias was very kind. Air conditioning was nice. Our room even had a little balcony area. Really pretty and quaint. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"The best reason to stay at Ca Beatrice is that Noelle is the manager of the hotel. He is amazing—not only friendly and welcoming, but genuinely helpful. I had to get a taxi to Marco Polo in the middle of the night, and he actually walked with me to the taxi stand at the Piazzale Roma. The hotel is very clean and in a great neighborhood. Highly recommended!"

"The breakfast was great. It was near a water bus pickup location so it was easy to get to anywhere in Venice. Ths staff were great and very accomodating. "

"Such a great neighborhood, hidden far enough away from the tourist crowds while not being too far from tourist attractions. The staff is kind, helpful and very pleasant. Located a very short walk from the Academia water-bus station. The hotel is in the Dorsoduro neighborhood, full of charm and unique shops and delicious restaurants. We opted for the superior room with canal view and we are so glad we spent the extra money. We had our own very little terrace on a side canal and it was so magical....

"Our stay in Venice was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The hotel was beautiful, impeccably clean, and perfectly located, making it easy to explore everything Venice has to offer. The room was comfortable, elegant, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Every interaction with the staff exceeded our expectations—they were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with...

"Excellent stay. Located in a nice quiet yet interesting part of Venice. Easy accesibility by water bus, Tragetto gondola to get across the canal or 15 min easy walk to San Marco/ Rialto etc. and lots of dining in the vicinity minus the crowds. Room was comfortable and spacious. Very helpful staff."

"The room is very clean. Near to wharf from and to the airport. For a budget accomodation, it is a great catch. Thank you, Matteo. Only issue was the weather and heaps of walking."
