Hotel was amazing. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, and the room was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable and the AC was the best we have ever had in Europe. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

We traveled as a family of four, and chose the VP Mardono because it was situated close to family. The hotel is very quiet and clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It is conveniently located near the metro (Diego de Leon stop) and several bus lines. There is lots of shopping nearby, and it is easy to walk to several major parts of the city from the hotel (we easily walked to Plaza de Sol and Plaza de Espana). While you wait to check in, they have water, ice and clean glasses in the...

Love the Hotel the staff was wonderful very helpful giving us directions on the map how to get around town . was disappointed about not having a pool or patio it belong to the other hotel, but overall it was good & I was very pleased there were no pets allowed thanks Teresa

The stay was excellent we had to book last minute and the host took care of us. Would stay again.

Excellent

As noted in other reviews this hotel is in a residential area which equates to a quiet and secure stay. Very attentive and helpful staff at all levels. We stayed here at the beginning of our stay and then again tens days later prior to leaving for a total of five nights. Both times were wonderful. The breakfast is expansive and complete. "Fresh" squeezed orange juice daily. Complimentary beer, wine, sandwiches, small salads, coffee and tea all day. An honor liqueur bar. Very clean and well...

Amazing staff, clean and comfortable rooms with excellent location in Salamanca neighborhood.

Excellent location. Great staff. Rooms are immaculate and decorated beautifully. This is my 2nd time staying here. Lovely hotel. Breakfast is amazing. While not close to all the major museums, it is extremely close to the buses that will take you to them in minutes. Also, only about 3 blocks from the bus/train station. Bus 200 will take you from/to Madrid Barajas airport. If I ever come back to Madrid, I will stay here.

The Wellington Hotel is very well located and it is truly a 5 star hotel. The service is impeccable, with great amenities, nightly turndown service, and an excellent executive lounge. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The restaurants in he hotel are great, including a michelin starred restaurant.

I am a fan of Barcelo hotels but not of this one, i felt a little disappointed for the cost of the stay, but being in Madrid explained why is such this way. I uber most of the time and cost varies depending on time of the day but with a big increment for busy hours, the room was comfortable and quiet we had street view. Later in my stay i discovered that the metro stationPlaza Castilla, was in walking distance from there but I can’t say much because did not ride the it. There are few options...

Incredible views and a beautiful place to stay

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and absolutely loved it! Although it's located on a busy street, our room was very quiet thanks to the noise-cancelling windows and electric shutters. Both the room and bathroom were spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed, including shaving and dental kits, shower caps, and a variety of cute little bottles of toiletries. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city. We’ll definitely...

I stayed at this hotel several times. This time with my dog. It was a very pleasant stay. Thé hôtel staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating. Rooms are spacious, nicely furnished. Hôtel is walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, parks. Overall a very great stay in Madrid.

This hotel is located in Salamanca, which is definitely an upscale area. Very high end shopping and an abundance of restaurants nearby. About a 20-25 minute walk to the Prado, Reina Sophia, and Thyssen museums. A great walk, don't bother with the bus or Metro. Definitely would stay again.

Loved the hotel and great service

Great stay! Close to decent restaurants, museums, and important destinations. We arrived early before official check-in time and they promptly gave us a room…a huge relief for weary travelers. Service was top-notch.

Great location
