10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing stay in our 3 bedroom villa. Its homely and everything we needed. The neighborhood dogs looked after us. The pool was great. Walking distances to night market and lots of resorts around to go for a drink. Wifi was a bit here or there at the villa but excellent closer to the pool. Wendy was amazing.. let us move into another villa for our late flight checkout. Cant say enough she was super lively and we appreciated everything she did for us. Ill be back! "
"Just a beautiful location and adults only! They have 12 villas, so it’s never going to be crowded. It’s quiet with only the rumble of the surf in the distance and the gurgling from the pool fountain. Talk about a restful retreat! They have a small tapas bar and restaurant that opens at 4pm. The only downside to this resort is you can’t swim or wade in the ocean out front. It’s surrounded by coral and rocks with lots of urchins to ruin your trip. It’s worth it to just sit on the beach or hang out in/by the pool. Relax and live on island time! Totally worth coming for the relaxation alone!"
"The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The standout was Rowena always with a smile to start your day, she has an incredible memory for names and for the guests preferences. Everyone appeared to enjoy their work and nothing was to much trouble for them. Food sunshine lying on the beach or sipping cocktails by the poolside they have it all."
"Our villa had everything that we needed for our week. The villa itself is incredible! The modern beach styling and large decks on two levels made for a relaxing retreat to listen to the waves lap up in the lagoon. The breakfasts were plentiful and the appliances and outdoor grill were clean and newer. The loungers around the pool and the spa tub made for lazy afternoons when we weren’t exploring the area. The villas are a short walk from the Muri Night Market and have easy access to the local bus. I want to specifically mention the services team that brought us our daily breakfasts and serviced our villa daily. They were friendly, courteous, and made for a wonderful week in Rarotonga. I highly recommend including the Crystal Blue Lagoon Villas in your next vacation to the Cook Islands. "
"Very nice place to stay if you are after basic but good honest accommodation (not the place if you are after aircon and a big multi channel flat screen TV)
The hosts Rudy and Kanoe were very friendly & helpful.
Located right on the beach (but as others have said swimming not possible) and a very well stocked store just over the road.
You do need transport to have freedom to get around - but the hire scooters from Muri are cheap, safe & really fun.
Highly recommended (with the above conditions).
