Lovely stay at the Edgewater. Food was delicious and my primary school aged son loved the kids club. Very helpful and friendly staff and had a lot of laughs watching the crab races on a Thursday at 5pm. Only down side was the walls were quite thin and could hear the guests in the next room talking at normal voices but otherwise fantastic stay

This was our second trip to Edgewater, this time staying in a beachfront room with our 2 kids, 6 and 10. We loved the views from our balcony, the facilities, the well maintained gardens and the helpful staff especially our lovely Cleaner. We are already wanting to plan our 3rd stay.

We enjoyed our stay here as it was within our price range. The free buffet breakfast consists of fruit, cereal, cakes & muffins, yoghurts and bread for toasting along with tea, coffee and juice. It was fine for us but other people were complaining about having to pay for a cooked breakfast. Its a real family friendly resort with lots of children, so we would get the free shuttle bus to Club Raro , no kids and a pool bar. There is a smell of sewerage at the back of the property but it wasn't in the rooms so didn't bother us. Free beach towels to use daily was a bonus

The GOOD: The location was great, having our own carpark was also good. The water good for snorkeling and the room had everything we generally need and was clean and comfortable. We paid the extra for a Three bedroom beachfront Villa. We were put in Villa 31. It is the WORST one we could have been put in. There is no direct access to the beach, the outdoor balcony is so small you can barely see the water and it was at the very end of the resort. Breakfast was average. As we had a a toaster we ended up buying our own. The resort could have communicated more, there was no daily activities sent to our room, no room compendium letting us know general things about the resort.

We enjoyed our stay at the Edgewater. We loved the pool and dining area layout and having ocean views and a beautiful sunset each day. The only thing that let our whole experience down was the food. We were very disappointed with the food every time we ordered and the drinks were expensive too. The rooms were nice for the price we paid so overall we were happy.

Stayed here for 5 nights! The rooms were nice, the staff were friendly, the location was great and the drinks and food were fantastic. Would definitely recommend staying here. Has a beautiful pool, kid friendly, can swim from the hotel, the bus stop is at the reception, have towels, snorkels etc. Also has air conditioning in the room.
