Heath Park is worth a pic or two when discovering Heath. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander.
We enjoyed this lovely hotel. It was close to the castle, and restaurants and shopping. The staff were warm and helpful. They were delighted to tell us the history of the building. I especially liked the lounge and the outside, roof terrace for added relaxation.
Loved the location - right in the center of restaurants, shops and sights. Best part was being right across the road from Cardiff Castle and lying in bed seeing the castle out our window. Room was great and exactly what we needed. Would recommend staying here
We stayed at The Leonardo Hotel for one night. We parked in the Grey Friars NCP car park located 100yrds around the corner. On arrival the sweet lady greeted us. She gave me a 15% off discount code to use for parking. Check in is at 3pm. Id requested an early check in if possible. This was granted. We were given directions to our room. 2nd floor room 222.

The stay at Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay was very pleasant. It is a fairly short walk from the train station (and the city centre) and quite close to Cardiff Bay.
The staff were very pleasant even finding a room before the check in time. They have been pretty helpful and polite throughout our stay.
The room was nice, clean and modern with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Though it wasn't more spacious both the room and the en suite bathroom were adequate size.

Amazing gem hidden in the country. Very comfortable rooms, relaxing, fun atmosphere in restaurants and bar with delicious food. We weren’t traveling with children, but there were amazing play areas, indoor and outdoor for children.
Stayed 3 days in Cardiff and found this hotel a very good option. The staff was very friendly and the location s amazing. My room was spacious and clean. The mattresses could use some updating, however, and if you are a light sleeper, be aware there is a bar under the hotel which is a bit loud into the wee hours. Overall, this was a good choice and I would definitely stay here again!
