"The breakfast was good. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.If you ask the desk there are free s’mores kits that you can get. Roasted marshmallows was a great surprise treat to have at the fire pit at the patio. There are also discounts on tickets for local attractions at the desk. The staff were very friendly and professional. The location is also great so I could walk to many shops/restaurants/attractions. Overall I loved my stay and if I am ever in Duluth again I would like to stay here...

"Free parking in the back was a pleasant surprise! I was only here for a quick place to sleep before continuing on my journey but it was everything I needed. Clean showers and easily accessible bunks. Its an easy walk to the Canal from the Hostel as well. There is a large bunk capacity at this location, two level bunkbeds both upstairs and downstairs, and they both seemed to be Co-Ed at the time of my visit. "We loved the third-floor balcony facing the lake. The breakfast was wonderful, the location of the building was perfect. This was without a doubt the best stay we have enjoyed in Duluth."

"Still a nice hotel, but maybe showing a bit of its age. Looks like some small items should be fixed I was upgraded to a lake view suite with queen beds(no extra charge) the room was clean but there was some slight damage to the wall next to the door leading out to the balcony, probably needs some paint and plaster to fix, maybe a little neglect going on here? Plus I noticed when going into one of the hot tubs(they have two there) of the two grab handles one of them was loose. Again a nice hotel with nice employees working there, but some things need to be fixed."

"The staff was great! We had a total of six rooms and nobody had any complaints. The location was prefect for walks to great restaurants and bars. Also walking distance to Canal Park and lift bridge. We were concerned about there not being windows in our rooms but it wasn’t an issues for anyone. Rooms were clean and nicely arranged with a refrigerator, single burner stove and dishwasher. Will stay here again!"
