Good functional place, if a little soulless. Comfortable bed and sheets. Good shower. Wish there was real shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, and enough coffee in the kitchen for the full stay. Was also a little too pricey.
Apartment style hotel. Good sized, comfortable rooms. We did not cook but the unit had a cook top and seemed to have all the cooking supplies you'd need. If you are facing the main street it can be a bit noisy due to the traffic and nearby cafes but it's only an issue if the windows are open. A beautiful dreamy Parador! Within most peaceful nature filled grounds, the rooms were exceptionally clean even with back garden access! Delicious breakfast either in the dinning room or garden terraza! Staff is super friendly and helpful with sharing information. Awesome bar with exceptional views of the gardens and sunset! What a gem this hotel is! We were spending a couple days in Rio with friends, and have booked this hotel for our second night.
Check-in was smooth, the staff was highly professional, friendly, and spoke perfect English. The room was truly lovely and well designed. The bedding and pillows were excellent. Everything was sparkling clean.
