Looks much better in person than photos on website. Clean rooms and facility, staff is friendly and provided excellent service. Would definitely return again as we enjoyed the casual, authentic feel of the mini resort. The roosters at property next door were loud which we were amused by at first and quickly learned to tune it out later. Excellent breakfast too.

All staff were great! The place is run down and desperately needs to be upgraded, dont believe the pictures! On-site restaurant prices are high and food is sub par. A 2 star stay at most. Much better places around the area for you pay for!

Not in a very safe feeling neighborhood but the property is super close to the airport and clean. The hotel itself is pretty and felt safe. Has security at night. Offers transportation to and from the airport. I got exactly what I expected for the price. Very nice staff. Didn’t answer the phone very often.

The team at Dolce Vita are very lovely! As with the rest of our trip, Filipino hospitality is unparalleled. We booked our king room without breakfast but ended up having all of our breakfast meals there anyway. It was very convenient, delicious and affordable. I had a traditional breakfast with tocino and my husband had French toast. Instant coffee and cream — would’ve preferred regular cream but that doesn’t seem to be the norm in the Philippines. Our room was clean and well kept. A few things to highlight — they only provide one pillow for each guest, the safety deposit box is tiny, dated and did not work. You will not be able to store your electronics away. Although the place was built in 2006 (if my understanding is correct) the decor is very dated — if that’s important to you. If you’re situated on the second floor you’ll have to go up a spiral staircase which may be dangerous. I’d note this when booking. The pool was nice to cool off — quite literally as the water was cold. The location was tucked away but the tricycle stand was just at the end of the next street so it was convenient. Overall, great value for the price. I would stay here again and would recommend it.

Dolce Vita is a beautiful property with large clean rooms. The pool and restaurant are excellent with good service. Food was very good and the pool was cleaned daily. The location is very close to the airport with SM mall and other restaurants nearby. I gave 4 stars and not 5 only because of 2 negatives. First issue we had was with the wifi not being so reliable in our room. Also the road and surroundings leading to the hotel needs improvement. I would still stay here again b/c the price was so reasonable and hopefully the wifi gets rectified.

WiFi and Hot Water did not work.

We stayed in a large room that can sleep up to 8. It was spacious but the hot water did not work and WiFi was non existent. Workers were friendly and helpful except for the person who worked in the breakfast area. We ordered for our breakfast to be ready by 6:30am. We got a call that it was ready at 6:20. We arrived to the breakfast area around 6:45 to find our food uncovered and laying out on the table with no fans to keep the flies/bugs away. The person behind the counter seemed upset because he did not smile nor respond to any of us when we said good morning and apologized for being late. After we started eating, he walked away and we were left alone for 20-25 minutes. The alley way to the hotel was dark and scary. Only plus was that the air conditioner worked great.

An oasis of calm in Puerto Princesa

This is a very cool place. Every room has a courtyard entrance and the yard is excellent and well kept. It's a 100 meters from the road so there's no vehicle noise. Staff is attentive and very friendly. Breakfast is fantastic. Thsi is truly and oasis in Princesa

Dolce Vita was a wonderful place to stay and I will definitely stay there on my next visit. The hotel had a European atmosphere and was beautifully maintained. The staff was extremely accommodating, the rooms were very clean and the restaurant served delicious food. Additionally, there was a small swimming pool and it was easy to get around Palawan.
