Hotel is beautiful, but old. I know renovations are in progress, but there were some cleaniness issues with air vents in rooms. Baths are old and hopefully will be done soon. Great shower power though. Overall, a great stay.

The location is unbeatable, and the price was right. The rooms were a little dated, but acceptable. I was on the seventh floor, and being able to walk across to the mountainside pool was incredible. The bar in the lobby was hopping on a Friday night, and I enjoyed the more laid back patio Saturday afternoon. That said, the beer selection at the nearby Superior brewery was better, but it was a quick walk. Valet was also quick and friendly.

If you want comfort and luxury, this isn’t for you. It’s 1920 which is what makes it special. We have stayed here multiple times and it’s always the same. Small room, small beds, little water pressure, and we continue to stay here. It’s conveniently located where you can walk to almost everything you want to do. Live music was good, drinks from the bar were good, nostalgia is on point.

The properties is very nice. I wish the rooms were updated. We stayed on the 6th floor which is for pets. The hallway smelled great. But once you got into the room, it was a urine smell.
