I wanted to share our experience during our recent stay and honestly, it was really disappointing for us as a family.
When we arrived, we found out the hotel was undergoing renovations, which made it really hard to move around, especially with kids. It didn’t feel safe or relaxing, and we were only informed about this just two days before the journey, although we had made the booking one month in advance.
What made it worse was that breakfast was canceled for our entire stay. We had booked with the understanding that breakfast was included, and it’s a basic part of the hospitality we were counting on.
When we tried to talk to the manager about all of this, he was surprisingly rude. Instead of trying to help, he told us we could just cancel our booking with no apology or effort to make things right. That felt really unfair and dismissive. As it was difficult to find a new hotel at the eleventh hour, also the prices would be skyrocketed.
We were really looking forward to this trip, but the experience left us frustrated. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously so future guests don’t have to go through the same. Furthermore, given the level of inconvenience and the overall experience, I kindly request a full refund for our stay. We believe this is a fair ask considering the disruptions and the lack of basic services that were promised at the time of booking.
