We stayed over at the weekend, great room for the price. Big enough for my family of 4. Room was clean & fresh bedding & towels available along with a kettle & tea & coffee facilities. I liked the friendliness of the host: the location (opposite south pier) & the room(sea view). The hotelier was very kind & on seeing how lame I am, gave ma a room on a lower floor. I would happily stay there again. There was confusion reaching the hotel because a rival, calling itself the Sands Venue, is under construction & the name is so close to the Sands that I can imagine other future guests getting confused. The upstart venue should be made to change its name
