There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel. It is fabulous. So relaxing. It was hard to leave it to go out and see Tokyo; I could have stayed there the whole time! We decided that we had the best food of our trip in the Oriental lounge on 2 occasions. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

If you like service, you will like this hotel. The service is outstanding. The hotel goes out of its way to make you feel at home. We stayed at one of the higher end suites and we welcomed with a very ample fruit basket with some of the best fruit I have ever had. The restaurants try to know you by name. The spa is first class and the sauna has a 30 story view of the city.

I like how convenient the location is. The metro station is right next to the hotel. It takes just 10 mins to go to Ginza. It is also on the line where Omotesando and Shibuya. I also like the bar. Very cool. Classic cocktails with its own creativity and a fine touch of Japanese culture in it. Staff are very helpful. The room is amazing. Looking directly into the metropolis.

Not worth the money

Concierge service was not good at all - struggled to book a restaurant for us, needed to explain it several times to different people despite emailing in advance. Emails went without reply and the concierge team didn't speak good English or actually listen to us. Room had a great view, although it required two lifts to get to, one on ea different side of the building to the other. Spa / swimming pool access was only free before 9.30am. Bathroom was good but overall the furnishings inn the room were dated and the bathroom door was awkward to shut. I expected more for the price. The Palace was cheaper and the service was far superior and a much better room.

The reception staff was incredibly helpful, providing me with all the necessary information about the hotel and its facilities. The lobby itself was beautifully designed, creating a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. The room I stayed in was simply stunning. It was spacious, tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean. The comfortable bed and high-quality linens ensured a good night's sleep, and the attention to detail in the room's design was evident. The amenities provided, such as the mini-fridge, coffee maker, and complimentary toiletries, added to the overall convenience and comfort of my stay. One aspect that truly stood out was the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet was a delight, but I HIGHLY suggest to ask for the japonese breakfast . The culinary experience at the Mandarin Oriental was truly exceptional. Highly recommended

Mandarin Oriental Tokyo was a fantastic way to begin our Tokyo tour! We stayed here for 4 nights prior to our cruise and absolutely loved the hotel. Staff was professional and delightful to be around, food was great in the restaurants and room service. Rooms were spacious, comfy and clean with amazing views of the Tokyo skyline!
